2nd Workshop of Animal Welfare Committees 4.12.2017 Vienna

The second workshop of the Austrian animal protection commettees took place on Monday, December 4, 2017, at the Medical University of Vienna.

The aim was to develop an agreement of the animal welfare bodies on the implementation of the EU working paper on the training of persons working in the field of animal experimentation.

Program:

• Presentation of the EU working paper on the training of persons working in the field of animal experimentation by Dr. Roberto Plasenzotti (ZBF, MUW)
  
• Presentation of the training new in the GV-Solas by Dr. Nicole Linklater (GVSolas)
  
• Educational requirements, legal foundations in Austria, Dr. Alois Haslinger (Administrative Department Science and Research /V/3b of the BMWFW)
  
• Discussion of the current and future situation of Austria
