Panel Discussion: Animal Experiments
The RepRefRed Society, in cooperation with the VGT (Verein gegen Tierfabriken) and moderated by Gerlinde Pösler (Falter), invites you to a panel discussion on animal experimentation on Thursday, October 21.
The intention is to objectively highlight critical arguments about animal experiments, as well as those in favor of them, to enumerate problems and discuss the current implementation of the 3Rs in austrian biomedical research.
Which animal experiments are currently still being carried out?
Which alternative methods are available? Where can these currently only be implemented with difficulty - or in some cases not at all?
How well are animal experiments controlled?
How strict is the Animal Experiments Act and under what conditions are animal experiments approved? Is there room for improval?
